Downstairs
The basement is panelled in the same knotty pine as the hall and set up for films: black leather recliners, a long curved sofa and a large wall-mounted screen. There is a sofa bed down here too.
The house has been recently beautifully renovated and was exceptionally clean. We had everything we needed for a 3-night stay, and particularly enjoyed sitting out on the lovely enclosed porch overlooking the backyard.
